Thai Moon@ Blowing Rock

We (3) came for Thanksgiving and were so pleased!!! It was our first time although we have been meaning to visit for sometime, so thought Thanksgiving would be a great time to try out this restaurant as an alternative to traditional Thanksgiving food. Everything was great - smily and attentive service, cozy atmosphere and incredible food! We never felt rushed in ordering as we did it in a couple waves, and the food came out very fast and they provided time for us to order our next couple dishes that we continue to share and enjoy without any rush. Great food. Great service. Wonderful presentation of incredible food. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great service, delicious food and nice atmosphere! My party enjoyed every dish and even had leftovers. Now I can't wait to eat those leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

I've traveled plenty and enjoyed sushi & Thai restaurants from the Azores, to Ireland, Greece and beyond. The Moon in Blowing Rock is pretty special given the location and well worth searching out if you happen to be in this area of the mountains of North Carolina. First of all, the owner and the entire staff is about as courteous and professional as you will find anywhere. The entire vibe is warm and welcoming and they are truly happy you are there with them. I went there for lunch and was so taken in by the place, I went there again tonight to sit at the sushi bar, enjoy that experience and talk with the owner (Ta). The Vegetable Pad Thai I had for lunch was the best I've had and the Summer Rolls are joyous rice wrapped salads for the palate. We tried two soups tonight and they were each

Amazing little, hidden asian restaurant tucked into the mountain side in Blowing Rock. I recommend having reservations because we were walk-ins and it took a little bit to get seated. However, the servers were bustling and we got seated. We had crab rangoon and pork gyoza for appetizer. Monster Roll and Black Bear roll for sushi. Pad thai, chicken lo mein and pepper steak for main entrees. Everything was absolutely delicious, servers were incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere was quaint and charming. Our server, wish I caught her name, but she was incredible, our drinks never ran dry with her serving us. Blowing Rock truly has a gem in The Moon.

My sister and I have lunch at moon last weekend. We order two dishes and shared with one another. The red snapper was so amazing and we decided to go back just to eat lunch at noon unbelievable quality service cleanliness and an amazing experience.!!!
