Blue Deer Cookies

You must stop here!! The ice cream sandwiches were amazing, the cookies were so soft but not too soft where it fell apart. We stopped here twice during our 5 day vacation and the strawberry lemonade was delicious.

Great drinks, cookies and ice cream. Amazing shop and people, highly recommend if you are in Blowing Rock looking at shops stop in and enjoy some sweet treats as a break.

The front of the store is what lured me in! So cute! It was cold out, but I had to order their ice-cream sandwich. I got vanilla ice cream on chocolate - chocolate chip cookies. It was presented to me in a paper wrap with a wooded spoon. DELICIOUS! My family and I ordered lattes and hot chocolate. We weren't especially fond of the drinks, but we may just be used to different types. That's my 2¢ now you decide.

We stop off at this place after talking to one of the neighbors where we rented a house for the week. I am so glad that they told us about this place. The cookies tasted amazing. They were fresh and soft, just like out of the oven. The ice cream was smooth and creamy. The portions of cookie and ice cream is very generous. The price is just right. We will stop by Blue Deer Cookies again before we head back North. Thank you to the neighbor that mentioned this place to us. BTW , you have better golf down here then DE.

Cute little ice cream food truck beside the road! Absolutely delicious ice cream and soft flavorful cookies. There are picnic tables with umbrellas to sit and eat at.
