Mid at best. Items are good for taking pics of to post on instagram to impress friends, but taste is very lacking. Key lime cheesecake is two thirds crust, 1/6 marshmallow, 1/6 cheesecake.

I love this little place, their cheesecakes are SO good! I tried the key lime cheesecake and my sister got the pecan pie cheesecake and they were both incredible! They’re definitely large enough to split between 2-3 people and they’ve got a good selection of cheesecake flavors.

This Is a Destination in Blowing Rock, NC and probably the best and most unique desserts and pastries you will have in your life - all hand made. We couldn't decide so we bought an assortment and came back to get more right after. The cremes is incredible - we bought like 6 pieces and all of the other things are outstanding as well!

From the Opera cake, to the tiramisu, to the chocolate eclairs, Flavia really knows her pastries, and has perfected her craft. Her cheesecakes are amazing as well, and the service is consistently sweet as her desserts. These are worth every calorie!

Flavia’s would definitely rate 10 stars. This pastry business is located in a tiny cottage, think She Shed, on a small side street in downtown Blowing Rock. Everything was nicely labeled and priced but there were names I hadn’t heard before. Julie was very informative and kindly answered all of our, “Ooooh, what’s that?” questions. We were torn between a couple of items, so like any sensible person, we bought both. She told us to eat them at room temperature for best enjoyment. She said the “Crème” is homemade puff pastry with a thick layer of Mousseline Cream. That means they take their crème patisserie and then add silky butter. Is your mouth watering yet?
