Tate’s Barbecue

First time trying this place out, certainly not disappointed. Looks like it's just been completed, the place is all new and everything including the restrooms are neat and clean. The chicken was moist and tasty (thankfully not rosemary chicken that so many BBQ places overuse), the mashed potatoes were very good (little soft bits of bacon in them), the mac'n'cheese was thick, not watery. The only thing I can say anything negative about is the apple cobbler, mushy, lukewarm and just not great, and I love cobbler so kind of bummed there. Overall however, very good.

Great food, generous portions, and excellent service from the staff. Highly recommended.

From the Garden City Area and have been hearing a couple things about this place from customers I have there and decided to swing down and see for myself. And it absolutely did not disappoint. Got the pulled pork and man was it good. It was moist but not soggy and you could tell how it was cooked. Absolutely would recommend 5/5. Plus the inside is sweet and spacious and good vibes all around.

The first time we went... I knew we would go back. Met up with a sweet adopted sister and ate supper with her. The waitress was absolutely the sweetest and energetic young lady, willing to go the extra " mile" for us as well as conversed with us as well. Great food.... Wonderful atmosphere, and reasonably priced food. Yes, two trips and I'm most definitely sure we will be going back several times in the future. Thank you for making us feel welcomed, and the fantastic service!
