Allow me to begin by saying: This restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. First off, the Sopes de Carne Asada were out of this world. They make the masa fresh and cook it on the Comal. The salsa verde has great flavor with a kick of spiciness. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. The waitress had such an amazing spirit, and was very attentive. If I weren't from out of town, this would become a regular spot to eat at. Thank you La Estrella!

10/10 def recommend this restaurant. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is excellent, I have eaten here 10+ times and never left an unsatisfied customer. The salsa is the BEST in town. The chips, delightful. The service is wonderful. They now have a booth where you can submit prayer requests, and they WILL PRAY FOR YOU. Y'all. And there is always Christian music playing. The servers are very knowledgeable on their menu options, and prompt food preparation and being brought out to customers. A business that stands for something and follows it through is so appreciated in a small town like this. I am also a frequent chips and salsa to-go customer, and love love love it. Best pork street taco ever! Not your typical runny beans Tex Mex preparation but fresh tasty diced right. Lovely hard working devoted Christian restaurant and owners do not serve alcohol products and are courteous to all.. The restaurant is spotless!

This place just treated me with hostility and unkindness. Waitress was rude and uninviting. I asked for an order of enchiladas, but instead of cheese, I asked for steak and chicken. She said, they do come like that, they only come with cheese. Despite how I asked, they were unwilling to upgrade the protein, even with an extra charge. I have never in my life gone to a Mexican restaurant, that would not substitute an ingredient on an Enchilada. I asked to speak to the owner, we didn't care one bit. The waitress very rudely corrected me on the drink that I had. She asked, what did you have to drink? I said, in Spanish, "Coka de dieta". She, in an arrogant tone said, "That's a Pepsi." Excellent Mexican food. The place is very white and smelled like cleaning products. But very clean. The service was really good. The waitresses were very nice.
