Taqueria Rio Verde

Quick and good spicy brisket burrito, not spicy for me and surprise they sold Mexican fanta. I'm from Tennessee and not a lot of Taquerias sells it. Definitely be back again before I leave to try other menus items.

I give full 5 star. CUSTOMER SERVICE not to just me but when I enter, I am greeted not by just hello but by name.. The menue selection, great selection, I just focus on the #5 the eggs cooked perfect every time.. only decision I have do I want bacon, ham or sausage…. Always piping hot. That sauce that goes over eggs perfect. I ordered an extra 4 lbs of read pork something.for a party. It was gone. Dident satisfying place. You can watch them build your tacos right there for the most part. The food is very filling.. the owner and even staff will answer any questions give there food advice when asked . Would I go back? Heck yes. They also have a place in LaGrange. Have not been to yet but when out that way will def try it.. this picture does no justice

If you’re looking for homemade flavors, fresh ingredients, great service, and super reasonable prices—Taqueria Rio Verde is it. My spouse and I have been completely hooked since they opened in Columbus. We’ve had the chance to meet the owners several times, and they are genuinely some of the kindest, most welcoming people. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. We’ve worked our way through quite a bit of the menu, and just when we think we’ve found our favorite, they surprise us with something else that’s just as good—if not better. The breakfast tacos are large and the tortillas are homemade and fresh. I still think $5/taco is a bit steep. My bacon and egg taco was very good. The egg is tasty. My only complaint is they do not cook the egg with the bacon like Mama did (revueltos)! Instead they spread some bacon bits on top of the egg. Boo! For that I took away a star. I had hopes for the potato and egg taco but they did the exact same thing! I don't know if this is a central Texas thing but in Houston our taquerias don't do this.

Homemade flour tortillas-bean and cheese "taco" (which is the size of a burrito) is exactly what you want it to be. Both salsas are great, website needs a better way to add avocado etc. but was easy to use overall. Great price point. People wont be excited at first because it feels like there are so many places to get a taco, but then they'll realize that this one is great.
