Taqueria Mi Pueblo

We came in right before closing and were happily served at the counter. The accommodated my change for toppings on the taco which was great. The elote was my favorite part. My guy had a torta for the second time and it was good. Big portion for that sandwich! Nice to have a good local spot.

I stopped by Taqueria Mi Pueblo recently craving something simple and honest, and it totally hit the spot. The place has a laid‑back, no‑frills vibe — doesn’t try to be fancy, which makes it feel real and down-to-earth. As soon as I walked in, I got that “local taqueria” kind of atmosphere: basic seating, maybe not sleek or upscale, but cozy and welcoming — the kind of place where folks just want good food, nothing more, nothing less. We started with a few tacos — mixed meats, onions, cilantro, a squeeze of lime — and they tasted fresh and straightforward. Nothing over‑the‑top, but just good, well‑seasoned tacos that remind you why simple Mexican street‑style food works. Then we ordered a combo meal: with rice, beans, and a torta. I had one meal twice, and I was hooked at the first bite. So happy I nearly threw my glasses and put my hair back. After a long day, it was nice to see and talk to a friendly person aka the owner as soon as my friend and I walked in, it was great!!! It's not Texmex like the other restaurants around here it's all fresh and authentic Mexican food. It looked and smelled so good I forgot to take a pic but I did take a pic of the menu and checked off what I did get. Never have I ever eaten only 2 tacos and been full/happy like that. Man, it was so good I drank the sauce like a tequila shot after I was done eating. Oh, how I miss it😩 Oh, and P.S. the horchata was perfect.

Torta was pretty good! My fries had no seasoning. Salsa bar was nice and had good variety of things to add to your food.

It’s a good place but just not for me I guess, the food is good. The atmosphere is awesome! I really appreciated it, I think the price for the food is a little high, however it was decent but didn’t have the taste or food portion I’m used to. That’s just my personal opinion which means very little. Cute place! I only ordered one thing so I can’t judge it completely on that.
