El Jalapeno

Food came out super fast. Not sure if things are precooked or if they had some stuff already on the go in the back. My carne asada was a bit over cooked but overall the dish was fine. Wife ordered fajitas and I also tried some of hers. Fajitas was ok. My wife’s family is from Mexico and I eat authentic Mexican food all the time so I would consider this more Tex-Mex. I live around the area so trying new places is a thing for me and my wife. Server took good care of us and I could see she also took good care of the other people in the restaurant as well!! She was on GO! I probably would go back and try something else one day. Friendly staff Overall 8.5/10

Thanks to the lovely ladies at La Jalapeño in Commerce, GA, for a great experience from start to finish! Excellent service, yummy food, and a fun cozy atmosphere! Even my hard to please family was singing their praises and wishing this restaurant was also where we live! Thanks to all the great Google Reviews of the restaurant that helped guide us here on our travels through Georgia. We give it 5 stars and then some! 😁

My family and I were passing through and decided to stop here for dinner and we are so glad we did. This was absolutely the BEST authentic Mexican food I have had my 34 years on this earth. The people there were so nice and friendly, which just made the whole experience even better. To say the least, if I ever come back this way I will DEFINITELY be stopping here! I am currently in a Mexican food coma and not regretting life decisions finishing up all my food. So glad I wore my comfy pants for the long car ride! Just go, you won't regret it!

I felt right at home the moment I walked in due to the wonderful smile from Gabby. The service was quick and my salsa bowl was always kept filled. The steak quesadilla was absolutely one of the best I’ve had. Portions were big and overall a great place for the price.

I have lived in Texas for 30+ years. This restaurant was delicious!! I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again.
