Taqueria Gaona

I live in Orenco Station, Hillsboro OR, and The One Horse Tap-house routinely has the Taqueria Gaona food truck there. The Mexican food options are excellent. I’ve had the burrito with al pastor and it was a monster, major meal, and a wonderfully big portion. The last experience I tried recently was their quesa Birria tacos, which included the Consommé soup. Wow, talk about a flavor combination, loved it. This food truck and food is awesome!

Great spot to get your taco 🌮 fix …. Chance upon the joint while they were in the Orenco area at the Taphouse location. They are there every Sunday, so don’t miss em. Generous meat portions and such flavorful meat. Host is also friendly and patiently explains what they are offering…. So don’t be afraid to ask. He will patiently explain the menu to you. Wonderful experience and awesome food. Support local biz !!!

Delicious food and friendly service! The quesabirrias had a nice crunch to them and the birria was perfectly seasoned. The carne asada quesadilla was delicious as well. Lean, tender and flavorful steak, plenty of cheese, onions and cilantro. Delicious hot sauces, large portions and nice prices. Clean, covered eating area with easy access and parking.

It’s taco Tuesday. Stopped by the food truck at One Horse Taproom. Tried 6 tacos. 2 Al pastors, 2 carne asada and 2 birria. All were so freakin delicious. Straight fire. Highly recommend and definitely worth it. I shall return!

These guys were one of the food vendors at the Festival of Friends music fest this past weekend. All of their food was delicious. In fact, they may have the best Mexican food that I’ve had in the PNW yet! And, as a ex-Texan, I don’t say this lightly 😆. They have fair prices, fresh salsas, and it seemed like they use home-made tortillas for all their dishes. I was perfectly happy, eating all my meals from their food truck for 2 days.
