Five Stars Family Burger

Great food, great owners , but a total dive. Every burger is made to order in a semi outdoor kitchen. There are 2 hardware store fans that blow smoke and the scent of the delicious burgers straight into the street. You are greeted by a friendly smile and asked if you’re there to pick up. We were there to order and immediately told it would be an hour wait. We were in no hurry and decided to hang out for the 40 minutes it took to get our Bulgogi burgers and fries. The burgers were really excellent and worth the wait. Turns out most people order by phone and pick up their burgers later.

Incredible burgers served by incredible people. This place is such a cool spot with very tasty burgers. They make everything fresh to order and with high quality ingredients. It costs a little more but it's worth it here. The burgers also come with the absolute perfect amount of fries with your burger. Its far for me but I'll be back.

We originally tried coming here months ago and there was a long wait so we decided to come another time (at the time we didn't know just how popular they are) and it took us some time to make it back to the area. Today we called at 11:30am and it was a 1.5 hr wait, not too bad, and we were able to hit it up on our way home from the beach. The owners are so friendly. The burgers are worth the hype. They are incredibly juicy and I love that they're not cooked well-done, just a little pink in the middle. The flavors are great and the fries compliment them well. Halfway through our meal the owner asked us by name how it was all tasting. They love what they do and they're good at it! This is a great family owned business that brings flavor. The only downside is parking isn't great. The quality of the food is top notch. Goldstar is really a star! I wish that they put the spicy oil on the fries as that is the only part that didn't blow me away. Make sure to call to place the order as they use charcoal and work on orders all at once. If you want a good quality burger then you know where to go. Everything was fresh, would have paid $20 for the burger as it is much more flavorful than a Red Robin and I love supporting the local businesses!

We heard through friends about this place that has long waits for well worth it burgers so I had to experience it myself. I called ahead and was quoted a pickup time. They told me to call back 40 minutes before to confirm it was on schedule. Just the phone call alone was a five star experience. Very helpful and effortlessly funny, I wanted to be friends! We picked up our order at 1:10pm and sat inside to eat. Wow so good. I'm not even that into burgers but these were delicious! The charcoal preparation and the months long bulgogi marinade were apparent and appreciated. We got the bulgogi, the hot-dog cheeseburger, and the kimchi burger.
