Tanaka Kahuku Shrimp

I am so glad we got to try this spot during our trip to the northshore—it was an absolute highlight! Let's get straight to the star of the show: the shrimp. We ordered both the spicy garlic shrimp and the salt and pepper shrimp, and I can confidently say they are totally recommended! The shrimp itself was incredibly fresh and tender. The spicy garlic sauce was phenomenal; it had a great kick and went so nicely with the sweet, succulent shrimp. And a fun bonus for the salt and pepper shrimp—you can eat it with the shells on! My friend told me if I come to north shore I must try this type of shrimp dish. They are many famous places to eat this food. Tanaka Kahuku Shrimp was on the way, so we stop by here to try their shrimp. We try 4 different flavors. Butter Garlic, Lemon Pepper, Spicy Garlic and Salt & Pepper. I like spicy garlic the most. It is flavorful and testier than another dish. The place is self-service so you order the food then when the food come you go pick it up then bring it to your table. For a price point, I count as a tourist price so it will be one time thing or one in a blue moon so cost of live in the city is more than this and I don't have any problem with it.

Shockingly good. So freaking juicy and tender. I have had shrimps a thousands of times but this one is just so exceptional that it blows my mind. I can’t find words to describe it, but I can promise you the flavor and texture and the freshness is out of this world, as long as their chef doesn’t quit and they stick with their current shrimp supplier

Wonderful Spicy Garlic Shrimp, the flavors were excellent. We had vegetarian noodles, could have been better if they could have offered protein option like Tofu and option to add spice levels

I tried #2 Butter Shrimp and it was pretty good. Not crazy good but good enough to recommend. I went during a weekday around 4pm. No long lines, quiet and plenty of parking - would recommend to check it out if you're in the area. 3% credit card fee is there.
