Swell Coffee

What a gem of a coffee spot! Highly recommend stopping by while on the north shore. The vibe is right, the coffee is amazing, and the service is the perfect mix of kind and knowledgeable. Supporting local spots like this matters, and the product is always much better than the big chains. I’ll Definitely be back.

We drove there 3 times during the open hours of 12pm-4pm and 2 of the 3 times he was closed without a note or change to website hours. That really sucks because we are from Waikīki and it’s over an hour drive away. That said, their coffees were delicious and refreshing on a hot day. The only complaint I have about the coffee is that is that the menu photos do not match what you get. We ordered their iced mocha lattes which shows chocolate sauce on the side of the cup and on top of the whipped cream but our drinks had no chocolate sauce anywhere. Overall, I would’ve given a 5 star review if the drink had the chocolate sauce and if it was open when it says it’s open.

Swell Coffee in Kahuku served up an excellent cold brew and one of the best oat-milk matchas I’ve had on the North Shore. The owner, Matt, truly embodies the aloha spirit. Mahalo!

Matt was excellent at answering our questions. I thoroughly enjoyed trying the Affogato; it was absolutely delicious!

Can’t say enough great things about this spot! Swell coffee offers it all, from coffees & teas, to vibes. I’ve gotten two things from here so far and they've been amazing. The Affogato is so yummy. You can tell the icecream is good quality & the espresso is rich in flavor!! Definitely happy I got this! The Matcha, I knew it was great from the start. The dark green color on the milk told me enough 😍 10/10 drink & I will be back here for it!! Swell coffee is my new go to.
