Taj Stamford

So I posted on our dinner visit on the Taj site but now I am posting about our Sunday brunch experience. My wife and I love Indian food and have tried many restaurants. Sunday brunch here is a great way to experience some tastes of different dishes they offer. Mind you this is just a speck of what they offer. It’s from 12-3 and $25 per person. It includes sodas, waters, 7 vegetarian dishes and 7 meat dishes, salads and 3 different deserts with fresh fruit. The food even at a buffet style is at a high level with quality and freshness. The staff at this place is unlike other places. Extremely friendly, accommodating and very concerned that you have everything you need while dining. We went for dinner with our 8-month-old daughter and had such a good experience. Dhibin took great care of us — super warm, friendly, and welcoming. He recommended the tamarind eggplant and shahi paneer, and both were honestly amazing. We left so happy — definitely worth a visit!

The drinks, the food, the service was just amazing! The servers were so incredibly kind, and the food was out of this world delicious. At the end of the night they did a beautiful henna on me (which was a beautiful experience) and we got gulab jamun which is my personal favorite dessert. Overall the atmosphere and our experience here was just top tier. We will be back!

Taj Indian Cuisine in Stamford was an absolute EXPERIENCE from start to finish. The service was truly A1, and the food matched that same energy 100%. Every dish was beautifully presented—like art on a plate—and tasted just as incredible as it looked. The ambiance was exactly the mood I was looking for. The Indian restaurant is located on the second floor, right next to Courtyard hotel. While there are many food options in this area, if you like Indian food - this is the place to have dinner. Their specials are amazing in presentation and taste, service is implacable and they offer my favorite sweet raisin Indian bread.
