Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings

A modern, casual Chinese space that may not feel traditional, but delivers authentic, satisfying food. Portions were generous, even if the prices were not exactly cheap, and everything we tried was well prepared. Among many solid dishes, the pumpkin cakes really stood out. They were creative while still traditional in flavor, and genuinely delicious. The pan-fried crispy noodles were another highlight, perfectly crisp with a large, comforting portion that was very filling. The ube red bean bao had a pleasant, flavorful filling, though the skin was a bit harder than what we usually prefer. The veggie soup dumplings were nicely made and well executed. They were clean, delicate, and satisfying, even if not especially creative. Definitely worth a visit.

I’m so happy that this place opens in Connecticut. Is the kind of Asian food that was missing. Authentic. Fresh. Delicious. And they have my favorite yam with red bean for dessert. We found the service to be most excellent we had plenty of time to enjoy our food and we were greeted with friendliness so all in all this is a great experience. We will be returning here soon, but it’s getting so crowded. It’s hard to get in to grab a table so make reservations. If you have a reservation, there is typically no waiting, but by the time we left, there was a pretty long line of the door waiting for a table.

First time and loved it. Got the west lake beef stew and lucky fix soup dumpling variety to try different types for dinner. Both were so good! Personally, I loved the signature pork dumplings most and the chicken ones. Great place and great staff. Shout out to Kiara our server who was so welcoming and knew exactly how I could have a great first experience here. Will definitely be going back soon!!

Comfortable dinning seatings and atmosphere! Food is authentic. We ordered soup dumplings, crisp fish, stir fried rice cake, beef noodle soup, etc. kids loved them! Bella and Aylen provided very thoughtful services. Will visit again next time.

Great food and service! The food was hot, tasty, and most of it came out within a couple minutes. We did have to wait a bit longer for the fried chive box, but our servers, Matthew and Steven, were very attentive and kept checking in with the kitchen for us. When it finally came, it was hot and crispy, making it worth the wait. The manager, Bruce, even came over at the end to make sure we had a good experience.
