Thank you for having a pet friendly patio. We visited today and had Carnitas Flautas and Tarasco Plate. It was fantastic! Beautiful place. Thank you from a couple of Canucks.
Second time coming in. First time I got a burrito. Had tons of meat, rice, cheese, and pico. Accompanied with a green and deep red salsa. Salsas are delicious especially the hot deep red one. Burrito was a 7.2/10. Something about the rice or Pico were a bit on the acidic side from the amount of lime. But still very delicious. Second trip in i got a carne asada torta. Now this baby was slammed with meat lettuce tomato onion and fresh avocado. Came with fries and a creme sauce of some sort that was AMAZING. The bread was buttered a d toasted perfectly. The fries are lightly battered and crispy perfection. 9.4/10 for the torta and fries. Only reason not a 10 the carne was a tad over cooked and dry. The owner is such a nice guy! This is a must try in the town of Ajo. Im working in the area an
Driving through town and wanted some good Mexican before we flew back to Chicago (which has great Mexican too!). Checked the reviews, and reading through some of the lower ratings we had a hunch that they were written by a persnickety crew - who leaves a one star review because the salsa is too spicy?? Anyways, we were quickly proven very right. The server (who I have to assume was the owner) was very kind and prompt. The food tasted authentic and was absolutely delicious. They have a full liquor license now - although we weren’t drinking - which seemed to be an issue for some reviewers earlier when they had first opened. And the menu had everything you could want from a Mexican restaurant. We were the only ones in there for lunch which was a bummer on two fronts: this restaurant and crew
Simple, authentic and good mexican food at reasonnable price. What to say more? Would recommend.
Owner is aggressive and seems crazy or drunk. Tried very hard to provoke me, after I finished playing a 2 hour set and 1 hour encore. Wouldn’t let me in to thank the staff. I ate at the old location twice and was nice in not leaving a horrible review for getting extremely salty food the 1st time. Refused service the 2nd. And wrong food the last time. A 3rd party hired me to play the grand opening at the new location, and all went great until I wanted to thank the staff when I was done. Refused to let me in and followed me to my car yelling and screaming. Bad food, crazy drunk owner and a staff that deserves better. Stop by fat cactus pizza, or anyplace else including chevron.
