Ajo Eats

I stopped in with my sister & friend for breakfast before a hike. I ordered the savory New Cornelia crepe with bacon which was enough to keep me fueled for my hike, the maple syrup was a nice touch of sweetness. My sister got a sweet fruit filled crepe which was stuffed with super fresh fruit, really great fruit to whipped cream ratio. Service was fantastic too, very friendly and kind folks who checked in with us personally as we left to ensure we enjoyed our food.

This destination is a welcome addition to the culinary choices in Ajo. The crepes, both sweet and savory, are excellent and execution is on par with some of the best places I've had them. Perfection! *Chef's Kiss* Honestly, they are so much better than any of the restaurants that have those silly 'crepe machines'. It is definitely worth the effort to find this place. You won't be disappointed.

On Sundays Ajo Eats has a guest chef. Today we ordered the special ham and cheese quiche with crumbled bacon bits on top which was very yummy. I should have ordered a second one to go for lunch. Very friendly atmosphere and good food. Will stop in again tomorrow for breakfast. Ajo Eats is only 50 steps from the Sonoran Desert Inn & Conference Center.

We stopped in for breakfast and she made us some breakfast sandwiches. They were really good! Sunday morning she has waffle sandwiches which I would like to try someday. We also got some baked good to take back to Tempe.

The food was most excellent. I had the Sonoran Bloom with whipped cream in every bite. Highly recommend.
