Granny's Kitchen

This restaurant is actually in Why, AZ. We had the special which was 2 chicken enchiladas covered in a wonderful limey green sauce and cheese. It was served with beans, rice and a really flavorful soup. They served us chips and salsa which was really good. The service was very fast and friendly.

We had a tasty lunch at this cute cafe. I had a patty melt that was made just right. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. It was very good as well. Generous portion of fries - too many to finish! We had never stopped before, but so glad we did! The food is really good and our server was super sweet and friendly. Reasonably priced, also.

Great little restaurant. Mexican and American fare. Worth the stop if in the area. Pretty busy with locals and Travelers alike.

Lots of chicken decor. We stopped here on the way to Organ pipe NP. The food was good. I saw many people saying they come from states away to eat here so my expectations were very high. It was ok but nothing i'd travel multiple states for.

**Review of Granny’s Kitchen in Ajo, Arizona** Granny’s Kitchen in Ajo, Arizona is a charming, albeit older, spot that delivers on cleanliness despite its worn appearance. The service, however, left much to be desired. With only one waitress managing the entire restaurant, the service was understandably slow. She was incredibly busy and, unfortunately, never checked on us after serving our food. On a brighter note, the food was quite good. Debi thoroughly enjoyed her omelette, while my huevos rancheros were absolutely delicious. The food quality definitely stands out. Despite the slow service, we plan to return. Debi is especially looking forward to trying their lunch offerings, particularly their mole sauce.
