Taco Bell

Have you ever seen Love Actually when Alan Rickman is at the jewelry counter trying to order a necklace for someone other than his wife and Mr Bean is taking so long the wife is about to find out? Yeah. That’s this Taco Bell. 16 minutes for my order, only one person in front of me in line inside. The cheese in the quesadilla wasn’t even melted. At least I beat the person who was in the drive through that I would have been behind…. They still had two cars before getting to the pickup window

I love this Taco Bell. I know it’s a fast food chain but some are definitely better than others & this is one of the better ones. The food is put together nicely, portions are not lacking, sauce isn’t lacking, it’s always hot & not cold or soggy. Whoever the manager is running this place obviously loves their employees & treats them well & keeps them happy cuz the food reflects that. Delicious!!

Aside from Taco Bell's sterile remodeling (I miss the 90s classic style but that's my nostalgia talking,) Taco Bell in Wallingford is almost always excellent. Staff are generally pretty great here unlike at other places (I've found Wendy's and Dunkin's staff especially rude no matter where I go. Probably because these people aren't paid enough, so these companies need to pay their employees more!) This Tbell rarely makes mistakes and my orders are generally accurate. Food is typically hot and most of the time, they remember my sauces.

After having a horrible experience at a different location (see my Middletown review), we drove 20 minutes to this one. The staff was immediately attentive, aware, and helped me realize that the initial problem at the other place was something I overlooked. But after hearing my story, they took great care of my and my kids, despite the fact that my bad experience had nothing to do with them. I would highly recommend!

The experience here is truly once in a lifetime, because by the time you get your food, you're already on your deathbed. Their daily average wait was over 22 minutes (as displayed on their monitor) the last time I had the misfortune of going there. It took 45 minutes for them to make my order of 4 burritos. Lastly, they are guaranteed to get at least 1 thing in your order wrong. It's not a maybe, it is a guarantee.
