Taco Bell

It's a shame so many people have been having problems here but this is actually my favorite Taco Bell in the area after coming for the last few months. I've never had an inaccurate order from here and the staff are the friendliest by far in the Columbia area. Wait times are quick (although I've never seen it busy here), and the inside is clean. Only minor complaint is that it seems like they run out of certain soda flavors more often then they should.

I saw all the really low reviews and wanted to share my experience here. I live nearby and have been here probably 10 times since it opened. The only negative I have or suggestion to make is to check your order prior to pulling away. I have gotten the wrong thing here probably 3 times out if the 10 or so visits. That should be normal practice at a fast food place though, and is just as much my fault for not checking as it is theirs for not giving me the right order. I know how fast paced and busy that environment is. Otherwise, my food is always hot (for Taco Bell standards) fresh and the staff is always friendly. Pictured is a 3 cheese chicken melt, fiesta potatoes with no sour cream and a grilled stuffed steak and cheese burrito with extra steak and no sour cream ! Yum!

It took me 20 minutes to get my food and the others in my party a half an hour. I don’t know what they have going on back here but we were paid almost no attention save for the drive thru cashier giving me a drink cup and saying they were “making our food right now,” when in reality it took 10-20 minutes more from that point to get our food. I recognize that there was probably a good bit of drive thru traffic but you can’t just ignore the people dining in. Someone in my party also asked for a sour cream cup and it took them 5 minutes when it could’ve taken someone a few seconds. The food was made correctly at least.

Ordered 7 burritos on the app and found 3 were missing when I got home. After giving them a 30 min head start to make the order, I finally went through the drive thru and they just started to make it after giving my name. Still had to wait another 10 min. Instead of a refund, I got a $5 coupon that does not cover what I spent and it expires in 90 days. It doesn’t take a degree to get the order count right. From now on, I’m making them stand at my vehicle while I count the order in front of them.

So I edited my review. I had a very long wait for nothing but a Cantina Bowl and a very small burrito. Over 20 minutes of waiting, I watched an entire episode of One Piece while standing there. No one spoke a word to me, I ordered it the self-surd kiosk and no one said hey it's going to take a minute, or thing of that nature. Now I understand things happen but communication is something that we should have. We shouldn't be back there talking and having a grand old time unless we've made sure everything's handle. They saw my order come through, I heard it beep as soon as I sent it. No one said a single word. They just need to get a little bit better with this. However, it was literally the best Cantina Bowl I've ever had. Chicken was actually fresh for once which I never had I did not know
