Sweet Sam's On Route 66

Fun little ice cream shop that is so much more. We’ve seen Samantha start from an ice cream cart to having her own place at this historic home on Route 66. They offer a uniquely honey flavored ice cream but also have other flavors. This past weekend they brought out a pizza oven and her dad Larry was cranking them out. When a family member who went to school here stopped by we had to taker here. The pizzas were great so I hope they bring it out again.

It was 12 degrees outside today and my hubby wanted ice cream! So we decided to try this wonderful place and was very glad we did! He really enjoyed his coffee honey ice cream. I ordered a chicken salad croissant and a bowl of veggie soup. It all hit the spot and was wonderful! I also got a strawberry cheesecake honey ice cream to go and it was the best version of cheesecake ice cream ever! Stop in and enjoy!

My husband and I stopped there today before we got married! The owner’s mom waited on us, and she was so kind and welcoming!! ❤️ We had a grilled cheese and bologna sandwich, paired with tomato soup ❤️ She also gave us a Rice Krispie to toast to!! Very sweet of her! Thanks again!

We came into town from Texas for our soldier's graduation and stopped in to get ice cream for our grandson and coffee for Grandma. We have rarely received such a warm and sincere welcome as we did here, and after bragging about our soldier before family day, we were pleasantly surprised to learn from him that word got back to him! Once he graduated, we took him back to show him off and enjoyed more ice cream and homemade cinnamon rolls that are awesome! Definitely recommend everyone stop by Sweet Sam's and enjoy the treats and the way they make you feel at home!!!

Great place and people . Sam's is a homegrown place where everybody knows your name. Don't confuse it with the other Rt66 fake restaraunts , this place is the real deal!
