El Centenario

Its a smaller restaurant that's connected to the gas station/ convenient store. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service we got. I myself got the taco salad with ground beef and I didn't care for it, but our server did replace it for me. For adults the margaritas were very good.

Great food…cooked to order,delicious balance or flavor and spice! I ordered the Burrito Jalisco and it didn’t disappoint.Queso dip is mouth watering!..If you’re looking to satisfy the craving for Hispanic food this is a must!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped into El Centario in Waynesville after a long day, and it did not disappoint. The chicken and steak fajita nachos were loaded, flavorful, and easily some of the best I’ve had in the area. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, the staff was attentive, and everything came out fresh and hot. Definitely the best sit-down Mexican restaurant around, highly recommend if you’re passing through or local to the area! 🌮🔥

We recommend it. Our first trip there and we will be back! Nice place and friendly staff. We had fajitas mixed beef and chicken and a chicken burrito. We also had a cranberry margarita thanks to a nice lady named Fatima. They have a robust menu and many drink items. Parking is shared with the gas station and is not great but there are handicap accommodations. Inside is bigger then you'll expect from the outside. Inside was clean and fresh looking as were the restrooms. All in all it was a very pleasant and fulfilling visit.

Amazing food and drinks. Loved it the atmosphere and it was clean. Service was bang on. I think lights were too bright white more like commercial light. If they were little dimmer it could fell more warm cozy atmosphere for a seat down restaurant.
