Sweet Ride Ice Cream

We stopped into Sweet Ride Ice Cream in Reading as the final stop on a date night, and honestly… it was the perfect way to end the evening. The vibe immediately pulls you in, classic 1950s ice cream parlor energy with a fun, nostalgic feel. One of the employees was even dressed in a white shirt and black bow tie, which totally fit the theme and added to the experience. They have a huge variety of flavors and options, so there’s something for everyone. We came specifically for their Valentine’s Day ice cream flight, and it did not disappoint. I usually do not leave negative Reviews, but i really did not have a good experience today at this establishment, i love to support local businesses. Unfortunately my experience today was not what i expected, I went into sweet ride today July 19, 2025 @approximately 6:25pm. I was absolutely appalled at the lack of service and compassion this place runs, when I come and the owner Angie is there i have an amazing experience, but today there were 7 employees total working all teenagers and one adult, I had asked if i could please place my order via the window as the establishment does not have a ramp for a stroller, and i was struggling to get in, they said absolutely not, that i had to come in, I was struggling with my stroller toddler and no one helped me just stared, which makes me questio

I absolutely love this place! Their ice cream is incredibly fresh and less sweetened than most. The vibe here is great, and you’ll get the fastest service. They have a variety of flavors available, and there’s a cozy indoor seating area.
