We got miso soup, vegetable soup, a smoothie, fresh beet/carrot/ginger juice, mixed vegetables (requested no sauce), and sesame 'chicken'. The service was absolutely amazing, the owners are so sweet. This restaurant is also absolutely spotless and the cleanest I have ever seen a kitchen. You can tell they take pride in what they do and they love their restaurant. The food was very good and I'm so happy to find a restaurant that is all vegan, fresh, and homemade. I recommend anyone come here—even if you're not vegan, give it a try, you'll definitely find something you'll love :)

This place is amazing and the food is fantastic! We ordered online - and the food was ready at the scheduled time - and everything was in perfect order. They are super friendly as well. We had the vegetable noodles, "beef" and broccoli, "port" fried rice, and spring rolls. This was the best take out we have had - and it is all vegan! The portion sizes were great - and we had plenty of food for leftovers as well. Even my FIL - who is a die-hard meat eater - absolutely loved the food - and plans on going back weekly! I wish we lived closer so we could go more often - but it will now be our go-to place for delicious vegan food when we visit the in-laws.

I'm glad that I finally got to try Chen VegetarianHouse. I've heard about it for a long time and I know people that will drive almost an hour to eat there. The food was fantastic. Great flavors and textures for everyone to enjoy no matter what your eating preferences are. All of the food is vegan but recreates all the flavors and dishes that anyone would ever want at a Chinese restaurant. We tried the steamed dumplings, scallion pancakes, spring rolls, general tso's chicken, and the curry chicken. The staff is so helpful and friendly. It's a pleasure to dine there. Parking is accessible nearby and free on-street parking is free for long enough for your meal without worrying about running out of time.

After doing some serious research, I found it worth driving from Lancaster to try this place. It was so worth it. I got the sesame chicken as well as the pork fried rice and both are awesome!! The spring rolls were really good also. I haven't had truly good vegan Chinese food since Horizons and Kingdom of Vegetarians in Philly. This is right up there with those and I'd recommend the drive from Philly to anyone missing that quality of food. The people were so nice and it was very clean and inviting. Thank you so much. I will be be back.

So I wanted to see if a Chinese restaurant with 4.9 average reviews lived up to that rating? Short answer: if you're there for the food, price and service answer = absolutely! Pros: family owned place with over the top niceness. Food is amazing. I ordered the pad thai chicken and was one of best dishes ive had in a very long time. Its vegan so not true chicken but honestly tasted as good if not better all for $12 @ dinner. Cons: street parking that can be challenging since its in a high density area. There's maybe 3 or 4 tables in there and they are 2 or 4 person tables so do NOT go there for a great dining experience. The entire dining area is about the size of a parking spot. No knock it's just not that kinda place. Check it out at least once its that good.
