Sushi Hatsu

This was my first time at Sushi Hatsu, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was nothing short of amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the sushi chef was both engaging and clearly passionate about his craft. The restaurant was spotless, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I left already looking forward to my next visit. A true gem in Ambler!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. Probably the best sushi and appetizers we ever had! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back! :)

A friend took us out for a birthday dinner and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The food and atmosphere was the best. Really friendly staff, Mike and Som served the best food i’ve ever had in awhile. I would definitely recommend people to go and enjoy the experience i’ve had. The owner also welcomed us with open arms and he really made a place worth going. Thank you for having us :D

The chefs work with an almost serene precision, their movements razor-sharp and focused. You can truly see the dedication to their craft. The freshness of the ingredients is undeniable; everything tastes like it was caught or sourced that very day. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance: upscale and chic, yet welcoming and unpretentious – a sophisticated experience accessible to everyone. The BYOB policy is also a wonderful touch. If you're looking for exceptional sushi in a refined yet comfortable setting, Sushi Hatsu is an absolute must-try. It's a testament to the artistry and dedication of its chefs.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! A must try for any sushi lover, but their unique menu has something for everyone. Every item on the menu was the best I’ve ever had. It was truly an experience. The short rib empanada, lobster ravioli, Patagonian toothfish, spicy calamari, Kobe tataki….all amazing. The chefs are artists using the best quality ingredients and the owner was kind and welcoming. A great place to celebrate a special occasion and savor every bite. You will not be disappointed! And don’t sleep on the desserts! Homemade, creamy, deliciousness.
