This particular restaurant warmly welcomed my wife and I to the Holden Beach community nearly three years ago. During this period they have consistently and very welcomingly provided us with the absolute best fresh, hot, and tasty seafood dinners, served with a variety of sides, and hands down, the very best homemade banana pudding I have ever tasted!

Smaller eat in area, so be aware of that. But overall a really good local place that we enjoyed while on vacation. Great portions and food was very fresh, friendly service to go along makes for a good experience! I had okra, slaw, hushpuppies with flounder and oysters. Would recommend!

A simple home town cafe with sandwiches and seafood. Everything we ate was very good. The fish sandwich was our favorite. Staff was great and so friendly. Great food at a great price. Plus even busy our order didn't take long. Will return for sure.

Late in opening for one. Once open the counter where you order was covered with drinks that should have been already put in the fridge. The girls up front were less than polite and gave off the attitude that they didn’t want to be bothered or be at work. The soda machine wasn’t working. I had to turn it on myself to get a drink. The unsweetened tea was not made or out for customers While we were ordering the phone rang and the lady answered the phone totally ignoring us while we were ordering. My issue is that if you are supposed to open at 11:00am and see people outside in the cold and rain then open at 11:00 am. Also when you open you should be ready for business not getting ready for business. My wife and I have eaten there at least 20 times over the last 4 years and this was way b

1st time visit. Came for lunch after being at beach visiting.. You pay up front at counter then seat your self. We ordered 3 seafood platters for lunch. Shrimp did have very strong chlorine taste. Flounder was very salty( over seasoned) and very mushy and oily! Fries were frozen crinkle fries, a little mushy not crispy. Hush puppies were a BIG disappointment. Very over done in the fryer! I bit into one and couldn't even chew it, (it was like a plastic chew ball toy). We were never checked on by anyone the entire time so I didn't say anything. Overall, food Portion was large though. Ranch is good. For $60 bucks for 3 people, I just expected better.
