Super 8 by Wyndham Kosciusko

I usually don't stay at motels, something about the quality compares to budget inns and lower quality places but this week I don't have any options. I decided if I had to choose from America's Best Value, Econo Lodge, Super 8, Presidents Inn, Maple Terrace Inn, or Campbell Inn, I would give the Super 8 a chance. The drive here from east Texas was about 6.5hrs, the last 2-3 hours was a slow 55mph speed limit on a very narrow hwy. There was no way to check in online so we had to wait until our arrival. We arrived to a Super 8 that is "under construction) though the website or app didn't mention anything about it. The person running the front desk started by apologizing because one of my rooms was not available, again the drive was several hours yet no one contacted me regarding the unavailab

This Super 8 hotel is filthy. The blanket and comforter had stains. The chairs were heavily soiled. The toilet was not secured to the floor which is a safety hazard. There were bugs in the room. I could not wait to check out the next day. I will call Wyndham for a full refund. This place needs a full remodel or a rebuild.

I’m hoping it was due to reconstruction. But there were water leaks with water visible on the floor when I entered the room. Roaches were visible crawling up the wall and in the bathroom

Needs alot of TLC! Room smelled musky and moldy! Liens and comforters had burnt holes in them and stains all over them! Pool was green, this wa very disappointing m!

We only booked this motel because there are literally no decent hotels in this small town & we were coming from out of state to visit family for the holidays. This property had roaches crawling on the mirror and counter. There was also dead bugs, unclean linen and when you move the ottoman, there were food crumbs under there so of course the rooms weren’t being clean. The owner was also rude after asking for our money back. We went back to get our stuff out of the room and he came there saying hurry up and get your things and leave. The rooms are definitely outdated. We were moved from one room upon checking in into another and still had the same issue. The air conditioning was barely working as well. Please do not stay here.
