The atmosphere and service was welcoming and comfortable. The set up of the restaurant is comfortable and not awkward at all. The food was delicious. I love the way the cook the bamboo in the Tonkutsu Ramen. As well as the chaired pork, it was a delicious flavor. I would suggest you go for something you’re used to versus trying something new. I also tried the unagi rice, it was interesting. I enjoyed the unagi and the rice, under the unagi was a sweet egg. So if you don’t like sweetness you might not like it. We wanted chicken Katsu curry how it wasn’t ready so we got chicken karage instead, was good.

I’ve had ramen all over Japan and this is about as close as it gets. The marinated eggs are some of the best I’ve ever had. If you are looking for Kaliua’s best ramen spot, this is it! Get extra extra eggs like I did.

Best ramen and fried rice I've ever had! It's super tasty and the beef was super soft. Definitely would recommend over any other spot on the island. Price-wise is great too!

It was late and I found the broth okay. Large ramen noodle is what we had. Beef broth was better than the pork and chicken in my opinion. Service was great but there was a loss in translation and we didn't feel we really received the best of what they offer. Had the chicken katsu and honestly can't identify what part of the chicken we received. Really reminds me of being in China and ordering from a tiny picture and take what you get situation.

Amazing Short rib noodle soup. Broth is delicious and the short rib is huge! Highly recommend
