Sunrise Cafe of Ocean City NJ

10am Tues Sept. 9th. Waitress was very friendly and courteous. My scrapple and egg on wholegrain toast was made very well. Its tough to make scrapple good, but they nailed it. Breakfast potatoes were yummy. Loved the atmosphere and you'll see the local wildlife when sitting outside.

Olivia was an amazing waitress!! As soon as we sat down we had water and coffee served and our orders placed within minutes. Olivia was extremely accommodating and even brought us extra creamer for our coffee so that we never ran out. I have a soy allergy and am always worried about if I can eat at a place but Olivia knew exactly what I could have and made sure everything was soy free! The food came out just as fast as the service and everything was wonderful! I got the crab omelette and it was fantastic! Everyone at our table got something different and everything was just as good as the next! It tastes as good as it looks! The next time we’re in town we will definitely be coming here!!

TLDR: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Food quality is terrible. Bad and disorganized environment. Overpriced and poor quality. This used to be a great place, we stopped going years ago due to slow service, high prices and generally overcrowded. We gave it another try. It was not overcrowded which should have been a warning. The first order had crab which they didn’t realize they were out until time of service (it was late brunch). The substitute order came out with raw egg 🤢 instead of poached. Other meals (pancakes) were served with what appeared to be MOLD (see pic)!!! Back of house was seemingly in complete disarray. Waitress was nice and apologetic. There are so many places for breakfast and brunch within walking distance, go somewhere else. It’s cheaper, nicer and food quality won’t be quest

Really great little place. Feels very homey. Delicious bacon, eggs and pancakes. They also are giving back to children who do not have SNAP benefits currently. Highly recommend.

If it was socially acceptable to lick my plate clean I would have. :) absolutely delicious.
