Scarborough Inn

This is a very long overdue review. I stayed for four days in December at the time of the Historic Houses tour. The event was amazing and organised by our host Sne , we went from home to home , generously opened up by the local residents resplendent with amazing decorations and lights. Even more magical with the snow falling around us. I had a lovely sunny room with a view of the houses , so comfortable with a newly upgraded bathroom with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was the chefs choice of delicious fruit and eggs , coffee and tea available anytime. Evenings on the porch were another unique experience with many return guests catching up with each other and welcoming newcomers. Sne was a fantastic host creating such a warm environment and assisted by a great team , Monica included.

I wish I could live at The Scarborough Inn! People are so friendly. Everything is simple, updated, and comfortable. It’s a perfect location for walking on the boardwalk, walking on the beach, or walking in the other direction to go shopping. I love the little coffee shops all around and the restaurants right around the corner. And if I feel like staying in bed all day or reading on the porch, no one cares. The fresh cookies in the afternoon are wonderful! I can’t wait to go back.

First, you need to know that this place is amazing and that Sne and his staff have taken care of virtually everything you can think of. They are the most welcoming and inviting people we've ever met at any establishment. From the moment you arrive you feel like they actually care about you... not your business, but you!||The Scarborough Inn is absolutely beautiful and full of life. We stayed in the Sun King Suite (rm 201) and it was comfortable, modern, and a special retreat. The first floor lobby is an oasis of music, visuals, and just comfort!||The breakfast each morning was lovely and our hostess for that was so engaging.||It is very obvious that Sne and his team care about the property, you, and your happiness. A fantastic experience. I was intrigued after seeing the web site and reading about the Scarborough Inn. The booking process was super easy and communications about the stay were very informative. What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The room was exemplary, clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff was very attentive to my needs and great with information about the area. The breakfast was always delicious. The porch is the best location to enjoy morning coffee and relax. There is always coffee available. The boardwalk and beach is a short walk away but far enough to provide some nice quiet tranquility at the Inn. I’m coming back!

The Scarborough Inn is simply delightful! My husband and I were lucky enough to spend a weekend away in December, just before the holidays. The decor was festive and very cozy. ||As an event planner for work, I deal with many hotels, restaurants, and reservation bookings. I have never encountered an establishment with as thorough communication around their policies. This was a dream for me, and honestly, really fun to read through. ||My husband and I checked in later on a Friday evening and our key was ready for us at the front desk.
