Churn House Ice Cream & Cereal Bar

Went on a Friday night, line was down the sidewalk. Only took 15ish minutes to have our ice cream in our hands. Super efficient with good service! I had a kiddie cup with mixed in rice crispy and it was one of the best!! So yummy!!

Unique concept in a cute location! Can definitely say the cereal ice cream is different from anything I’ve heard had. Very Christina Tosi Milk Bar inspired which I enjoy. The actual shop itself is tiny so the line tends to get long, but they move it along pretty fast. There’s a side area with tables for seating that fills up rather quickly on summer nights. Prices are high for Ice cream, even on the island, but it’s worth an every once in a while treat!

Another unique dessert spot to add to my list of favorites! They have a huge number of combinations you can order - lots of cereal choices, blended into chocolate or vanilla ice cream with plenty of toppings too! You can make your own combo or chose from their menu - I was recommended The Boardwalk and it did not disappoint! This is a chill spot - friendly staff, an area for outdoor seating. Good vibes all around.

Unique ice cream shop comes to the shore! This place is brand new and I was all too happy to see a different kind of ice cream show up down here. They also have a great instagram so be sure to follow them. We have a been a few times because they have so many mix-in/topping options and I want to try them all. This time I got a Vanilla waffle cone with Frosted Flakes and rainbow jimmies (yes jimmies because we are in New Jersey). My girlfriend got the "Surfer Joe", which is Vanilla/Chocolate ice cream swirled with Special K mixed in, topped with pretzels, heath bar, and chocolate syrup. It even came with a surf board and flower lei. Churn House has an awesome outdoor seating area. Because the ice cream is mixed, it does melt rather quickly. Service was fantastic. Both the employee who took our order and the one who made them had smiles on their faces and were chatting with guests. Despite there being a substantial line when we showed up we were in and out in a very reasonable time. The outdoor dining area looked very nice though we didn't use it. Ice cream was tasty and inventive though a bit pricey ($7-9 each)
