Sunnyside

Everything was yummy. Not a huge fan of the home fries due to the texture but they were still okay.

So, I rarely give out 5 star reviews unless the place really wows me. This is one of them. The service was amazing, food was fabulous, and not too packed like most spots like it. My favorite dish i was able to try was their fried pickles. I have tried fried pickles from places and this one had the fried pickles with pickle flavor instead of dried pickles. Meaning; the pickles aren't too dried up to fry, they have a small bit of juice. A def good place for breakfast and lunch 100%

Wife got a gift card for Sunnyside Diner/Fireside Brick Oven. After church services we stopped at Sunnyside Diner on the way home. We were greeted and sat fairly quickly and looked over the breakfast menu. I have always looked for biscuits and sausage gravy and got excited to see their gravy is made in house. I was feeling the eggs Benedict though. Then I saw a Southern Benedict on the menu made with biscuits, sausage patties, poached eggs, and sausage gravy with a side of homefries and I had to go with that. First off, the poached eggs was cooked perfectly, and the combination of the biscuits, sausage patty, eggs, and gravy was a pleasant surprise. They were so sweet to us today! We had a late night, and our our 1-year-old was exhausted this morning. Without missing a beat, the waitress brought her some fruit, played peekaboo with her, and gave us a milk to go! 🙂 they're always so kind and welcoming here. Sunnyside has definitely become our go-to breakfast spot!
