SunMerry Bakery & Cafe

This Chinese bakery’s price used to be more affordable compared to the Korean bakery but the prices have gone up the last couple years. The egg tarts here are good but usually sell out in the early.

I order from here often. I usually get a coffee and pastries. A few times I’ve ordered items were sold out but they usually give you a call and ask if you’d like to replace it with it a different item. I like their pastries b/c they’re not incredibly sweet & they’re light. There’s a good balance… quite tasty!!

Loved it. Best coffee shop I have been to, and normally coffee shops are overpriced and pretentious, but not this place. $2.75 for a medium coffee, and delicious meat filled pastries. The people working there were courteous, asked me how my day was, and offered suggestions, which I willingly took. The atmosphere was good too, the smooth jazz Muzak was at an optimal volume (neither too loud, no quiet), the place was clean and well organized.

Delicious cakes! We tried their taro pudding and mango mousse cakes and were really impressed with the taste and texture. Also liked their milk teas and boba. Matcha latte was also really good. Service was pleasant and quick. Appreciate samples of their cakes and baked goods to discover new favorites.

A wide selection of asian baked goodies! was impressed by the taste and light sugar content in most of the items that I tried. Definitely stood out compared to the other bakeries in the neighborhood. They sell fast so the best is to visit in the morning or afternoon. The staff is friendly and sometimes they have free sample of goodie’s. The outdoor area is nice to enjoy a drink and pastry. Not really a coffee and laptop place though. Would recommend for some of their unique baked goods that I haven’t seen at other places. Good selection of savory pastries too .
