Had an amazing date night at SukhoThai. Even on a Friday, we found street parking right away and got a great table overlooking Magazine Street. Drinks, service, and food were all on point. We kicked things off with the Spicy Edamame. My spouse kept it light with the appetizer sampler, and I went for the sizzling salmon. The staff was super attentive and kept our drinks topped off. All in all, a perfect night out for us.
Lovely atmosphere. The food was perfectly seasoned and authentic. The service was friendly and inviting. There's outdoor seating in a great area of magazine street. Fell in love with the chocolate lava cake. Save room for this dessert!
This Thai restaurant on Magazine Street offers a pleasant setting with friendly staff and comfortable outdoor seating. It wasn’t very crowded during my visit, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The food, however, was mixed. The mahi‑mahi green curry was disappointing — the fish didn’t taste particularly fresh — and the salad was a bit awkward to eat. The standout dish was the drunken noodles, which had great flavor and balance. Overall, a decent spot with lovely service and atmosphere, though the food could be more consistent.
Loved my visit to SukhoThai on Magazine Street! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out pretty quick. The vibe inside is cozy with really nice décor, and the staff were super friendly. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving Thai in New Orleans.
Sukho Thai was a comforting and flavorful stop when I was craving something warm and satisfying in New Orleans. The atmosphere felt relaxed and unpretentious — a cozy spot where the focus is clearly on the food. I ordered a classic Thai dish, and the flavors were bold yet well-balanced. The spices had a nice kick without overwhelming the palate, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The portions were generous, making it a great value as well. Overall, Sukho Thai is a dependable choice for authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine — simple, satisfying, and full of comforting depth.
