Steph's Southern Spoon

This is a MUST SEE! Super hospitality. We had their Hersheys Ice Cream and then discovered their soups in the cooler: corn shrimp chowder!!?? Brought back to our hotel that night for an amazing dinner!

Wow, these are good doughnuts! My partner actually flew back with these for me. I ate them the next day and they tasted fresh still! I’ve never eaten a doughnut that tasted like that on day 2. The dough was so tasty and the icing was super creamy. I’m devastated I don’t live closer to this spot!

Traveling through Emporia and found this place while looking for local donuts - my husband is very picky and said the jelly donut was the best one he has had in a long time - even better than his favorite spot in New Orleans! I agree - I tried the angel filled and cinnamon - both were fantastic! Support small businesses!

Very charming, country store vibe. Delicious, homemade sweets and comfort food, all ready to take home. Nice folks, and some cool decor. They have a few specialty items for sale too.
