El GALLO DE ORO

Such a gem! Owner was so nice, gave great recommendations and great service!! We came after having a bad experience elsewhere and this place more than made up for it. We got the build-your-own-bowl and the pollo carlos. Both were EXCELLENT!! The pollo Carlos absolutely blew us away, the veggies so flavorful. We sadly don’t live in the area but we often pass through- this will definitely be a new stopping point for us. The owner mentioned waiting for their alcohol license, I hope they get it soon because I can only imagine how delicious their drinks would be!

I am pleased to report that our town has welcomed a new family-owned Mexican restaurant, El Gallo De Oro, situated in the Travelers Plus building next to Hardees. After trying it out today, I can attest that the food is delicious. I encourage everyone to give it a try. Personally, I prefer it over the other Mexican restaurant in town. The Pollo Carlos was outstanding.

Incredibly delicious! Stopped here for lunch while passing thru town on a road trip. Saw the amazing reviews and had to try it. So glad we did! We had the chicken chimichanga and beef fajitas and both were awesome! The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the steak cooked perfectly. The chips were warm and fresh. Very fast and friendly service. Highly recommend!

So my wife and I stayed at the hotel thats literally walking distance to this restaurant. When I seen Spanish food connected to a gas station I know they mean business and they did not let down. They only bad thing I can say about them is damn they closed on monday but they need a break from serving som good old food.

best food ever. The owner was so nice the food was fresh and they even gave me some free fresh nachos. and the spicy sauce was bussin! I'll be back for sure
