JB’s Bangin’ Barbecue

Be aware, information placed on Google can be a little misleading. You might need to call to verify their location. They are indeed a food truck. I also need to emphasize that this review is based on my experiences with food trucks. It also represents a factual comparison to the food available in Emporia. The good: great portion sizes, value and the sides were good. The pulled pork, very good. The other: Brisket lacked depth of flavor (no smoke ring). The sauces were mediocre. Baked beans could be improved with using some of their pulled pork for seasoning and maybe some jalapeño for kick. Overall good eating especially here in Emporia. I will be back.

This is the best barbecue in southern Virginia, the brisket is amazing with the perfect amount of smoke, both sweet and tangy sauces homemade and are delicious…. Barbecue is the best I have had !! Definitely need to try this place

The smoked sausage is to die for and the prices are more than fair for the amount of effort put into their food! Will be a regular customer!!

Ribs, brisket, bbq is what I have bought. Extremely good ! Must go if you have a chance.
