Steiner’s Pastry Shop

Visited Port and stopped into Steiner’s to get some pastries for my friends. I asked the staff for three of their favorite or most commonly purchased morning pastries. They gave me a raisin cinnamon bun, a blackberry strudel, and a crumbly pastry. The staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful about choosing the pastries for me. We warmed them up at home and everyone was so pleased. Will return whenever I come back to Port Washington. Amazing service and amazing pastries!!

Wanted a golf theme cupcake for an event and this is the picture they sent, quoting me almost 4$ a cupcake. I am positive that I can make these at home and they would be better looking! Then they called back saying they couldn’t accommodate me and my request for something that looked nicer than this because they didn’t have the capacity to do it. Very odd. Hoping they will try harder for their customers in the future! I must say they are very responsive and the quick response gave them an extra star for me. Nice people, but I will be going elsewhere. REVISED REVIEW: still leaving 2 stars even though they called to explain why they could not accommodate my needs for a custom golf themed cupcake. Then they should not have sent me this picture and quoted me 4$ a cupcake! Very small shop, mom

This shop is so-so. They are not known for their muffins or donuts. However, their jelly donuts have more jelly than the donut itself. They do have a delicious pecan ring, but they keep on raising the price. It is now up to $25.95, which is outrageous. Elsewhere, these rings average $18. So if you don’t mind spending $26 for a pecan ring, this place is for you.

There are not enough stars here! I would easily give Steiner’s Pastry Shop 10 Stars if I could! For my breakfast this morning I had a raisin scone slathered in butter… pure Heaven. But that is only one of many delicious favorites. Muffins bursting with fruit, cookies with the Old World flavor of your Granny, and a Meltaway that should frankly be illegal! Quality ingredients assembled and baked with love is the only satisfactory description of this top-notch Bakery. You simply MUST try Steiner’s for yourself. A+++

Cool classic bakery. Raisin bun was skirt and delicious. The other items our family had were also delicious.
