Smusht

Oh my gosh, you must go to Smusht in Port Washington for an ice cream treat! Delicious house-made ice creams, about 16 flavors on rotation plus about 8 vegan and/or dairy-free also on rotation. They have amazing seasonal flavors, like Sweet Corn (yum!) in the summer, Pumpkin Pie, Apples & Honey, and Salted Caramel now. The Goat Cheese and Fig is a personal favorite. Not only is the ice cream fab, but the whole place is lovely. There is a warm, friendly atmosphere thanks to the friendly helpful staff. We come somewhat regularly and we feel like part of the community. Come to Smusht, you’ll love it!

We got a giant cookie ice cream cake from Smusht and it was a crowd favorite. Funfetti cookie base, Cookie Monster ice cream, and sprinkles all around — it looked awesome and tasted even better. The ice cream was super creamy and full of flavor, and the cookie stayed perfectly soft, which made every bite even better. Our office practically inhaled it — it didn’t last long. If you’re looking for something fun, unique, and seriously good, this is it.

Smusht is Port! It really captures everything fun about our town! Our kids absolutely love it there, and the Name Day tradition (free ice cream on your name day!) is such a great touch. Beyond the amazing treats, they’re also incredible community supporters, always giving back and donating to so many local nonprofits. It’s the kind of place that makes you proud to live here.
