Ikedo Ramen

I had SUCH an amazing experience at ikedo!!! Yesterday was my first time visiting Port Washington and all the staff made me feel very welcomed and special :) Special shoutout to Chef Michael who was so friendly, and made the most delicious bowl of Udon I’ve ever had!! Will definitely come back to Ikedo soon to show my other friends.

Ikedo has some of the best ramen I've ever had! They have such a great selection of food to choose from and everything I tried was so delicious. I can't wait to visit Ikedo again!

The service here was top notch, I found the indoor design to be thoughtful and elevated. They let you choose your seats (at least when we went) and it made for a great date. We started with their bao buns, then had two of their curated ramens one was the tonkatsu and the other was the beef. Both came with a healthy amount of protein! My girlfriend and I thought ours was the best we've ever had. My girlfriend actually worked at a bubble tea (boba) spot so when she said their tea was expertly made, trust her. We finished with a cute strawberry ice cream dessert. Perfect spot to dine in and warm up during this cold front or take out!

The new Ikedo Ramen in Mineola is exceptional. The Hamachi Scallion hand roll is the best I have ever eaten. The back room is like a bespoke Japanese experience in Long Island. I highly recommend the Chef’s selection, the Roberta Bites and Seasame Cucumbers hit the spot. And there is a super fun dessert selection. Our group loved the Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream! Amazing food! It is a perfect restaurant with a nice casual setting. It’s great for a gathering with friends and very accommodating to groups of various sizes. The staff and owner are very nice and my ramen always comes out well. Even on days that the kitchen has a thousand bubble tea orders, they always manage to provide excellent service and food. It has become a favorite of my family’s and I recommend it to anyone who likes Japanese food!
