⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at Starbucks in Burke! Unlike many Starbucks locations in California, this one was exceptionally clean and well-organized. The environment felt calm and welcoming. The employees were very polite and professional, and you could tell they take pride in their work. The equipment looked modern and well-maintained, which made everything feel efficient and high quality. One thing I found especially impressive was that the district manager’s business card was clearly displayed in case customers have any concerns or complaints. That level of transparency and accountability really stood out to me. Overall, a wonderful experience — I’ll definitely be coming back! ☕✨

I don’t know who redesigned this location, but they should be fired. They did away with the cafe sitting area which I’ve noticed another location doing as well. It’s cramped, there’s nowhere to form a line and it creates a horrible experience.

Layout is horrible!! You can barely sit, or cross your legs, without being in the main walking area. You have a single row for sitting, tiny side tables, and then a standing bench to the side. You have to sit facing the ordering area, staff, and pickup area. You can’t even have a conversation facing someone. I haven’t been in a Starbucks with this type of layout- I came here to break away from the heat and have a cool place to drink an iced coffee, but ended up going to another location. It seems like the layout was to intentionally make it uncomfortable for people to stay inside. Seating outside is fine as long as the weather is nice. It’s June and 90’s today, so of course outdoor seating wasn’t an option for long. Don’t come here to read, with a laptop, or to meet with a friend, it feels

This Starbucks is nice!! It has a large seating area outside even though the view is the parking lot. In the outdoor seating area, there's a flame like heater located in the center built into a wall that serves as a divider separating the seating area in about half. The interior of the store is smaller than most Starbucks. There was a lot of orders but they work very fast! I barely had to wait. The Chai Tea Latte is a little less creamy than I prefer. It could be that it's hot? I usually order the iced version. I didn't see any Starbucks Been There Mugs on the shelves or the 2021 Starbucks holiday bear ornaments that I saw on my recent trip to TN.

Update Feb 2, 2026 Came in begrudgingly and I have to say that I still really hate this renovation. I don't usually do this, but this was such a HORRIBLE revocation, that it deserves zero stars. There's no place for anyone to walk down the aisle when people are standing in the line and sitting down. What GENIUS designed this and what BRILLIANT person approved this? Really, I would have loved to listen in on those conversations. Original: Well, they renovated this store. They tried to fix something that wasn't broken and in fact they broke it.
