Chipotle Mexican Grill

Disappointed. I usually order a very simple meal - three or four sides. The last time I ordered steak it was underfilled, and the time before that it had a lot of fat. This time I ordered chicken, but when I got home and opened the bag there was no chicken at all. The restaurant was completely empty, so it was surprising such a simple order was wrong. The young skinny man with facial hair and a ponytail was not welcoming and did not say anything. When I grabbed the bag and said, “Thank you so much! Have a great day 😊,” he just stared with an unfriendly face and posture. The woman who gave me the bathroom code was smiling and friendly, but the man’s energy really changed the experience for me. Went to pick up my mobile order here- I come at least once a week- I was early so I anticipated to wait. Staff helped one customer while I was waiting for my order. The mobile order guy was working very diligently but had lots of orders coming in. The rest of the staff - except one staff doing food prep was standing around chatting. After waiting for five minutes, I requested for them to help him to make my order since he had so many and I had already been standing there five minutes. They replied saying “he’s making it”- as if he is the only person that could do it and none them could because it’s not their job and that “my order isn’t supposed to be ready for two more minutes” so I can wait. I ordered the soft tacos to try instead of my usual bowl. The portion size was good overall, but I wish they had drained the liquid before scooping it into the tacos. It made them really soggy and dripping with liquid, and pretty salty.

Always filthy in here. Its a foodborne illness outbreak waiting to happen. Stay away. I emailed the message below to management weeks ago,. No response. "This Chipotle location is always so dirty. I couldn't even sit down because every unoccupied table was smeared with food and/or leftover trash. AND the garbage was overflowing from every single trash can in the restaurant. It's a really bad look for Chipotle. I'm also concerned because if the dining area is so dirty then the kitchen and food-prep areas must be equally unsanitary. Considering your track record of foodborne illnesses, I am very surprised that Chipotle still isn't taking cleanliness and food-safety seriously."

Every so often i go to a chipotle and quickly remember why i dont, forgetful me.
