Starbucks Coffee Company

The team at this store went above and beyond for my birthday today. The young lady who took my order was nothing but kind and patient (even with my drink modifications), and even took the time to speak with my daughter (4) and ask her questions about herself, which doesn’t happen to us often. Then, upon leaving the clean lobby and getting into my car, I see not only a “Have a Warm & Cozy Birthday” comment written on the cup, but an employee took the time to research my name (Katie) and wrote a fun fact about the origin of my name and its meaning. I was floored by the effort to say the least! I will say, I haven’t had the best birthday today, but I will confidently say these employees at this Starbucks today made it so much better. This is the last time I come to this Starbucks Literally every time I come here it is dead and it still takes 10 to 15 minutes to get a drink. I put a mobile order in in the parking lot, there’s not a single customer that came through in seven minutes And still no drink, and then to give an attitude on top of it?! Yeah, no…No wonder it’s always dead here because the service sucks never again. I’m done get it together Powhatan Starbucks .

Update to my last review. It’s gotten worse now. Today’s wait was almost 30 minutes for an iced coffee. The app told me it was ready, I went into the store and no iced coffee was made. Can’t believe it took 30 minutes to make it. Everytime I come here it’s a 15 minute wait because they have to brew more iced coffee. Very frustrating. Hey baristas, when you pour the last one please make another batch so the next customer doesn’t have to wait sooo long to get a cup of coffee.

One of the best Starbucks I’ve been too! Great service and drinks.

Happy to have a Starbucks in Powhatan, but wish they’d be able to create a drink or complete my order without me having to always go back and let them know they’ve forgotten something on it.
