I wish the Star was the food. Everything was cooked appropriately. The service was good, everyone was friendly. The menu choices surprisingly leaned toward Mediterranean cuisine. I had an okay gyro. The rest of the table chose standard diner fare and all choices were okay. Go sit amongst the regulars, visit and expect okay food.

I stopped by Star 63 while traveling through Macon, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The facility is spotless and well-maintained, which is always a breath of fresh air. The customer service was truly top-notch; the staff greeted me with a genuine smile and handled everything efficiently. Its location on N Missouri St is incredibly convenient, making it an easy on-and-off stop for anyone on the road. It’s clear that the management takes pride in this establishment. If you’re looking for a reliable pit stop with a friendly neighborhood vibe, this place is a hidden gem.

Glad I took the backroads just for this place. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Ordered an omlette with spinnach, ham, and feta cheese and it was the best omlette I have ever had. Hashbrowns needed salt and pepper, but you can always add seasoning and you cannot remove seasoning. Better home cooking than most southern diners, and that's saying something.

Fantastic breakfast place. Really kind staff and a great meal faster than most fast food places. And the price is like a time machine to ten years ago.
