Comfort Inn & Suites Macon

We stayed tonight at the Comfort Inn - Macon and had a really good experience. We booked through the Choice Rewards website, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The gentleman at the front desk made everything smooth and welcoming. When you walk in, you’ll notice some unique decor, including taxidermy displays of a moose and a bear, which definitely gives the lobby some character. They had fresh water available with grapefruit and lemon, along with complimentary snacks like trail mix. That was a nice touch after being on the road. Comfort Inn and Suites Macon was a great stop! Everything was very clean, and the staff was amazing!! There was a great hot shower, little extras for the ladies in the lobby bathroom, and the decorations for Christmas were above and beyond. Also, the pool looked awesome, but it was December and we hadn’t brought our swim suits!

Convenient, clean, and comfortable hotel. Very pleased with our experience overall. We booked a king suite; really appreciated having a seating area, especially to watch tv, rather than having to sit on the bed. Room was spacious, the bed comfortable with an assortment of pillows. Our only complaint about the room: no towel bars in the bathroom! For a hotel trying to "go green", not being able to hang your towels to dry defeats that goal. There's plenty of wall space -- put up several! Breakfast offering was decent with well-prepared eggs, meat, and potatoes, but packaged pastries just don't cut it. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

This location was clean, festive for the holiday, and we felt very safe! Easy to get to from the highway as well. The facility itself to me is on the upper end of the Choice Comfort Suites in appearance. The AC/Heater unit took me to the 90s though as it was a turn nob with no precise options for temperature. It took us quite a while before we got it to where we were at a fairly consistent, comfortable temperature for the entire family. Other than that, we were quite impressed!

My family has had our Christmas gathering there for several years now and the staff is so friendly and supportive. The meeting room is perfect for us and the little ones love the pool. The rooms are always clean and have everything we need.
