Pear Tree Kitchen & Bar

This place is very good. Both food and service are very good. Ordered the filet with lobster bites and both were nice and tender and cooked right. Very nice experience!

Extremely impressed with the service staff at AJ's...never had to ask for a refill, they were always on top of it. Only ordered a sandwich to split and they still brought bread and salad for each of us. Can't remember our waiters name but he was a younger fella with long hair and was awesome!! He recommended the Tenderloin and served it to us already split up on 2 plates. Super happy we stopped into AJs and looking forward to coming in next visit to the area.

Amazing experience! Top notch drinks, food and service. We went all out. Drove here from Iowa just to visit The Pear Tree for dinner. Arrived at about 1:30pm. We took our time as a tried a variety of options. Lobster Bites were amazing. Drinks were top notch. For mains we tried Beef Medallions with Grilled Prawns and Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. Brussels sprouts are worth the Upgrade! They have an ice cream drink menu you can ask for and it's a great list of choices. A friend recommended The Pear Tree. I'm not sure I would've found this place otherwise. I highly recommend! We walked in at 1:30 pm on a Saturday and the parking lot was full. The bartender said it was actually slow that day. We very much enjoyed everything. Thank you!

Only spot I could find on Google Maps that I felt comfortable stopping at on the ride from Chi to KC. So glad I chose this spot. The establishment was really nice! The food was even better. Staff was courteous and helpful! We got there at happy hour time so they had some specials. I got a $5 Lemon Drop Martini which was delicious!! The sliders was not small as the picture looks. Super filling since it’s a double Patty slider for both. The cheese burger was a double as well. And the kids meal was a good size! Salad and bread was delicious also!!

Wow! We drove 1.5 hours to eat here and it was worth every mile! From the salad to the wedding cake dessert everything was amazing! Best prime rib I’ve ever had, literally melted in my mouth. To top it all off the staff and service were amazing! On the way out a very kind gentleman treated us to a bottle of their house made dressing and homemade croutons. What an amazing dinner, we will definitely return!
