S.S. Wreck & Galley Grill

I'm so glad we were recommended this place, it's now one of our favorites!! Matt, our server, was excellent. Truly a great guy who made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was wonderful, loved the house made sauces (try the ranch!), and portions were generous. So glad to see a restaurant who goes the extra mile to be a scratch kitchen, especially when so many places around here don't. We had the fish dip, Cobb salad with shrimp, mahi catch of the day, and a burger. All were seasoned and cooked very well. And how could I forget the keys lime pie!? It's amazing! Don't listen to the other touristy places claiming to have the best, because it's already here. Not too much whipped cream or sourness, with a nice thick crust. I'd eat a whole one by myself. Can't wait to come back!

Food was AMAZING, poke nachos delish, conch fritters, crisp yet pillowy inside, and the Key Lime Pie… hands down best in the Keys!!! Atmosphere was cool, laid back and fun! Matt was the best, knew exactly what we should order! Highly recommend if in the Keys to stop and eat here!!

We were recommended to try their Key Lime Pie. We almost skipped coming here but are so glad we didn't! I can confidently say that of the 10 key lime pies we tried, The S.S. Wreck takes the top spot! In addition to the amazing pie, our server was super friendly!

We enjoyed this place so much we had to come back a second time before we headed home. We had Matt as our server both times. Matt knows his stuff. Definitely take his recommendations! The best Bloody Mary’s around!!! shout out to grill cook steaks were perfect! Can’t say enough about the food! Best key lime pie I have ever tasted!!

Stayed in the area, and honestly there arent a lot of places to choose from, but man, im glad we tried this place. The staggering was friendly, and the bartender was a trip. Food was some of the best around, and the key lime pie was absolutely the best I had! Priced were reasonable, place was clean. Definitely a local place, but totally worth the pit stop!
