I attempted to sit on the patio this evening. I had my service dog with me and was refused service even on the patio even after informing the staff that my dog was a certified service dog. The staff person led me out to the patio where there was 3 empty tables that had not been bussed. The staffer was like see plus there isn’t any empty tables. Meanwhile there were 2 staff members, bartenders, sitting at one of the dirty tables smoking. One of the bartenders, an oversized white man, mad a rude comment to us and we left. I hope this goes viral and people do not support this establishment. I know I never will!

I was in town for a football game and decided to stop in after seeing the great reviews online. When I walked in, I honestly wasn't sure I was in the right spot—I thought I'd been punked! The ordering system is not ideal, and the line to order can grow very long, very quickly. However, once you get through that hurdle, everything else is a wonderful surprise! I ordered the cheese curds (out-of-this-world amazing!), a burger (good, but normal), and a Blacksburgian (definitely not for the timid!). Even with the game-day crowd, the service was excellent, especially from Michael. He was super attentive and helpful, and made us feel like truly special customers. I would definitely recommend this as a must-try if you're in town and looking for a truly local experience!

Am in town for work and this place was recommended. Cozy spot with a fun vibe. Had the French Dip and it was the best I have ever had in my life. I am writing this while still here and am full, but am still debating ordering another French Dip to go.

Best bar in town. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, good beer, and not many students. For food, the cheeseburger is great.

Great pub for us townies and adult visitors. The staff are always wonderful. Food recs: fish and chips, burger, and fried chicken sandwich are all consistently good.
