Lighthouse Coffee

I come to Lighthouse quite frequently during the semester but this morning I had the pleasure of meeting the Notre Dame Women’s Soccer team while picking up my morning matcha. Since it was a little crowded with all the players, the coach offered to cover my drink— and the staff also offered to put it on the house. This coffee shop exudes kindness, it’s always a loving atmosphere.

Out of all cafes in Blacksburg, this is the one I trust the most. The ingredients they use are high quality, while a lot of coffee shops mainly use the cheapest and most efficient ingredients to make their coffees. I love getting my matcha there, for which they use high quality, pure matcha powder and carefully blend it by hand into the milk of choice (my favorite is with oatmilk). I even got my order without sweetener and it tasted AMAZING. 10/10

Great new coffee shop! The two ladies who work here are so kind! They make their syrups in house and they are so delicious! You will definitely have a personable experience here that is hard to find at big brand chain stores. There is plenty of seating, and the vibe is so cozy! Me and friends did a Bible study here and it was such a great place! We also saw a bunch of people doing homework or other work, and it is a very serene environment. Pay what you can but they have suggestions

What a special little coffee house! You pay whatever you can afford for your order and it’s a lovely, boho-feel, hangout. The place is buzzing with people! The coffee was excellent. The people were very kind.

Coffee was incredibly smooth with no harsh aftertaste, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is so welcoming- I’ve fallen in love with a location so quick. Parking can be awkward to pull into, but that’s hardly a gripe. Live Laugh Love Lighthouse Coffee
