This restaurant is SO good. The single fish and chips is plenty for a person’s serving. The fish is so fresh and the fry is perfect. The best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fried clams were also wonderful. The place is clean and bright and a wonderful atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating available. You have to try the garlic vinegar, it’s amazing. Worked by the owner and his family, they were delightful to speak with.
I stopped by Spuds Fish and Chips and tried their regular fish and chips — just got one piece since it’s the perfect portion for one person. The fish was surprisingly good: moist on the inside with a perfectly crispy batter on the outside. The fries were also on point, well-seasoned and not greasy at all, which is rare for a place serving fried food. The staff were super courteous and helped guide me through the menu since it was my first time there. Service was quick and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. And honestly, the view of Green Lake from the shop adds a whole extra charm to the visit. Great food, great service, and great vibes. Definitely a must-recommend seafood spot!
This place is phenomenal, some kindest people I’ve ever interacted with! Serving sizes were generous but perfect and not too much food! Pace was the guy working and he was so kind and just wonderful human overall!! Go here!!
Amazing!! The staff is so friendly. The food is so fresh and crispy and flavorful. There’s a great drink selection from beers, ciders, wines, canned sodas, canned coffee, and more! They also have the best fried pickles that I’ve ever had in my life. Portions are generous too!
Spuds in Greenlake never disappoints! Their halibut fish and tartar sauce are absolutely awesome—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. We paired ours with their classic milkshakes for a perfect touch of nostalgia. It was the ideal low-key and delicious way to celebrate my son’s birthday at home. Simple, satisfying, and quintessentially Seattle —friendly, and family owned and operated. We’ll be back!
