We tried both the Kolkata Biryani and the Lucknow Biryani, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with either. The Kolkata biryani had that classic, fragrant, slightly lighter touch with potato and egg, while the Lucknow biryani leaned richer and more regal. Both absolutely fantastic. I’ve honestly been waiting for the day Nola started takeout. It’s so rare to find truly authentic Bengali food here, and I hadn’t realized how much I was missing it until this. Bengalis are crazy about food, and when you grow up with those flavors, nothing else quite fills that gap. The koraishutir kochuri took me straight back to winter Sunday mornings in Kolkata. The aloor dom was pure comfort, the dim er devil tasted exactly the way it should, and the Kolkata biryani, especially the aloo, just hit home. You can feel the care and honesty in the food. This isn’t just good Bengali food, it’s real Bengali food. So glad I can finally get this as takeout, it’s been a long time coming.

An awesome place where food is made with love and perfection. From choosing the best ingredients all the way from Kolkata India to taking you back to authentic bengali cuisine. This place will take you back to the streets of Kolkata. Remind you the aloo dea biryani from Shiraz and Arsalan and will make you fall in love with the fish cutlets and so on .. Must try place for the people of Seattle This Banglar heshel will take you back to the streets of Kolkata. Food is nostalgia and I live to eat. So do some people. Three years in Seattle and this is the most authentic Bengali (or even Indian in general) food I’ve come across. The Dimer devil and cabin style fish fry is to die for. It’s so good I ordered twice in a day once

We enjoyed everything that we tried - kosha mangsho, dim tadka, mochar chop. Same old flavors, loved it! We will be back soon. Thanks for the special treats on opening day :) Lots of parking.
